Q. Why is the name of your font "Nu Sans" instead of "Espy
Sans"?
A. "Espy Sans" is a registered trademark of Apple
Computer for their bitmap font. I cannot use the name because it would
infringe upon this trademark.
Q. I typed an é and it appears on screen, but it just prints out
as a blank space. Why does this happen?
A. The registered version of Epsy Sans contains all the accented characters
and other special characters (as well as Bold, Bold Italic and Small Caps
& Old Style Figures). See the Registration
Info page for information on how to register Epsy Sans.
Q. Do you know that there is also an Epsy Serif? Do you have any plans
to create this font?
A. Yes and Yes. If you would like to be a beta tester for this font, send
me a note at wamozart@teleport.com.
Q. What are the ID numbers for the Epsy Sans Family?
A. They are:
Name Bitmap PostScript Truetype
Epsy Sans-Regular 15109 4298629 2837
Epsy Sans-Italic 15110 4298630 2838
Epsy Sans-Book* 2494 4046379 2473
Epsy Sans-Book Italic* 2495 4046380 2474

*These fonts are no longer included in the Nu Sans package. If enough people want to see them back in, I'll consider bringing these fonts up to date. Send me an email if you have concerns about this.
